Come before Winter Renewals

Just the facts

What: Renewal retreats for women in ministry (see information below)

Who: A Come before Winter Renewal is for any English-speaking (fluent enough to grasp the lessons with minimal help) missionary, missionary’s wife, or minister’s wife, church leader’s wife, or any woman in the congregation who finds herself in a recognized (not necessarily a titled) leadership position in which she functions as a peg in the hub of the wheel that moves that church along toward its mission.

Though the women who conduct these renewals speak regularly to groups of women of all types, THIS RENEWAL IS GEARED TOWARD RENEWING THOSE WHO DAY-IN-DAY-OUT TAKE ON THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MENTORING AND LEADING OTHERS.

Why: We seek to renew, equip, honor, and unite women in His service around the world.

How:

* We bring together a group of spiritually mature servants, each with a variety of gifts in teaching, encouraging, counseling, leading praise, and administration, each willing to put themselves, their own personal preferences, and needs aside.

* We host renewals, which span 5 days in which we provide opportunities for the women to have fun, share needs, make and renew friendships, and practice the spiritual disciplines of study, prayer, praise, and meditation.

* We teach advanced study skills.

* We go to serve women; we leave behind sisters.
