Come before Winter values the unique contributions of women from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and theological traditions. We welcome all female Christian leaders to participate in our programs. United by our common faith, shared Spirit, and devotion to one Lord, we ask all who engage with CbW to affirm the following foundational statement:

We join together as sisters in the faith of our Lord, holding to the belief that Jesus Christ lived, died, was buried, and rose again on the third day, in accordance with the Scriptures; that he appeared to Peter, then to the Twelve, and to more than five hundred others, thus uniting all who believe in him. (1 Corinthians 15:3–6)

As we serve women across the global Church, CbW affirms the essential elements of the Christian faith while remaining neutral on matters of doctrine or practice that are best discerned within individual denominations and faith communities. In alignment with the spirit of our heritage in the Stone-Campbell Movement, we embrace the principle: “In essentials, unity; in nonessentials, liberty; in all things, charity.”
